Killed on Burma Front in 1944
Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Williamson, of “Beech View,” Ashbourne-road, Kirk Langley, have received notification from the War Office that their younger son, Gunner Thomas Archer Williamson, R.A., is presumed to have been killed in action on the Burma front on or about May 13, 1944.
Gunner Williamson, who was 22, worked in his father’s butchery business before joining the Army in 1941. He was an Old Derbeian.
